| A lovely little poem I wrote a while back. It's dark and depressing, but not to the extreme. Probably one of my best so far. |

NightDiamonds in the night So far yet so bright Into the moonless sky Your heart begins to cryNight
Although the night is young Its poison stills your tongue Terror holds you in its deathly grip As your consciousness begins to slip
Shadows dance across the field And to nothing do they yield The wild creatures start to yawn The curtains of the night are drawn
Then the magic is almost gone Dissipating into the dawn

Aurora BorealisAs the silver moon rises A lone wolf stands tall His shrill cries rip the night into pieces The night, now in shreds Bends to the will of the animal It twists and turns in agony Colorful ribbons fluttering Spurred on by the wolfs strong breath Moving faster and faster Until the sun breaks over the horizon Draining the black from the world As the ribbons of the night dissipate Into the pale blue skyAurora Borealis
